These are my new fishies! There's 4 spotted danios and 2 striped danios. They swim around alot and make our fish tank more active. Also, the frog is hiding in the cave looking creepy in this picture.

If my tank were to be revolving around a light source like the Sun then this is how a it would look! The Zebra Danios are really fast moving fish and there are over 10 in this shot. But there are over 20 in the tank with an Angel to keep them alert and on their toes (fins). :)

I was actually shooting the fish behind him, but when you're shooting fish you can never shoot fast enough

in the time it took me to refocus and hit the shutter, this fish chased the other out of the shot completely and the light caught him just so
I added contrast but the colors are all real.

This is my list. I went online and got these items because they seem to fit my wants. I am getting a 50 gallon saltwater aquarium, and I liked these items. I love colorful fish, starfish, and the lionfish. I want to know if all of these are compatible or what, and I really want to keep the starfish, Blue Tang, and Lionfish on the list. Anything else might be able to be thrown out. I also want just some small, cool looking mussels and clams. Could you please revise my list for compatibility, and center it around my favorites, and make some suggestions. P.S. Everything on this list is not going to be bought, I just liked these things. I have a 20 gallon long cycled freshwater aquarium, ammonia is 0 nitrite is 0 and last time i checked, nitrate was about 20 i think I have vallisiniera spirarlis, java fern, java moss, crypt, cabombas, pygmy chain sword i add a little plant fertiliser with every water change regular gravel substrate 20 % water change every sunday driftwood, 2 fake ornaments lustar hydro sponge filter II, tetra whisper ex20 filter heater, temp is usually at 25 C stocking plan (in order of purchase): 4 guppies and 4 red crystal shrimp 4 albino cory cats 1 flame red dwarf gourami 4 platies also, i have a bunch of shrimp from java moss they were all aclimated my first cory died a few weeks ago, another died last week, and i found one dead this morning the rest of the fish are fine, and acting normally so were the cories the day before they died i examined the dead cories and they dont seem to have anything wrong with them i got them all from the same aquarium in the store...what could it be?? help me please!!! and even the shrimp are okay and i got them before the cories they eat alright, they're always munching on the flakes that drift to the bottom and the other fish seem to leave them alone I had this aquarium for about 3 months now...so its a new aquarium. i only have one cory now.

i was wondering if can a spotted figure 8 puffer fish live with a cichlid? it says online that you can put a puffer in freshwater. so if it can live in freshwater i was wondering what it can live with. i really like cichlids so i was wondering if it can live with them what kind? what all Accessories do i need for the aquarium. also what any other info about them would be great.

I am buying two or three glofish, which are essentially zebra fish. I know they are freshwater, but I was wondering if I need a full blown aquarium or if a fish bowl would suffice. I don't have any other fish, and I am not planning on it.

I was mistakenly told that my new red bellied puffer fish was a brackish fish. After about 4 hours in tank he was sitting on bottom not moving. I moved him to a freshwater tank and he has seemed to liven up a little but his eyes which were red now appear to be white. Is there any thing I can do to keep him alive?

i would like to inquire if an male betta fist, just 1, is able to be in a 55 gallon freshwater aquarium with the ph of 6.5 temp of 78-80? there are tetras,corys,ottos,gouramais and a lot others. only thing im worried about is if the male betta will fight with the others?

I have a thermometer that sticks on the outside of the tank and it's about at 80. I was wondering what is the correct temperature? And what can I do to improve the cycle at my fish tank? I've added freshwater salt, as directed. Stress zyme and stress coat, also i bought bubble curtains. I just wanted tips. I want to make this a success without killing any fish. THANK YOU!! and any tips on what kind of fish to buy? I have 2 plecostomus, they are very old. They have been added right after setup by mistake, was a bit concerned at first. I'm guessing because they were shocked. But they seem to do a lot better now that I've added bubble curtains.

I have a freshwater aquarium. The only fish living in it is a juvenile jack dempsey cichlid. As I was turning out the lights in the house, I noticed that there are THOUSANDS of tiny white specks floating through the tank, and sticking to every inch of the glass. I'm guessing that they are actually some kind of mini-bug, because they seem to be crawling on the glass, not just being swirled by the current. Where did these come from and WHAT ARE THEY???? I have been trying to get him to eat less flake food and more pellets lately, and there's been a lot of uneaten flake crumbs floating to the bottom....that would make sense. It's just so...disturbing!

yeah i was wanting some cardinal tetra's but i already have some guppies like 4 and i was wanting some kind of fish that is about the size of guppies and friendly with guppies and that live in freshwater and i think cardinal tetras are perfect so im asking.....

i would like to know what i should put in my 10 gallon freshwater aquarium? i have in my 55 right now is neons,penguin tetra,cory cats,pleco,gourami,live plants,ottos,glass catfish, and other tetras, may seem crowded but it is not. what should i put in my 10 gallon aquarium?? i dont want the same fish, also i have a 75 gallon cichlid tank.

I bought a piece of driftwood from petco for my freshwater tank containing 1 male betta. I boiled it for an hour, let it soak for a couple days, and placed it in the tank. About 5 days later a slimy, cottony, film began building up on the driftwood. It's doesn't really have a color, but if I had to pick one I'd say it's whitish. I've taken it out and scrubbed it off a few times and also re-boiled it. A day after it's been returned to the tank the film builds up again. My tank gets a moderate amount of sunlight so I thought it might just be a form of algae, but I really don;t want to take chances with my fish even though he's still doing very well. What is this film and is it bad for my fish? Any ideas or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I just went to petco and bought some platy fish and an "aquatic combo". I comes with 3 plants but it says this on the plant tag thing: Dracaena Spathiphyllum Ophiopogon Trichomanes Syngonium I don't know why is has 5 names if it comes with 3 plants but does anyone know if these last long, because i had a live plant before and it got mushy and fell apart in a week. Also do these require special care/lighting? I just have them in a 10 gallon freshwater aquarium with some platy fish,a filter, and a heater set to 79F. they are aquatic plants and they are underwater in my fish tank! Also i have little 1.inch platy fish i dont think they could really damage the plants, but i have 7 platyfish, one danio, and a cory catfish. this is weird, i just looked up all those plants and neither of them are the plants i just bought... the names on the tag arent the actual names of my plants, i dont know why that plant tag was with my set of plants.

I have had my 25 gal tank for a month now and am ready to add for fish! I am a beginner, so i need fish that aren't too fragile. I already have gouramis, platies, and killifish. What is the most gorgeous fun fish i could add? Thanks!
