(Answers: 2) (Comments: 0) May 11, 2012 - Three or four weeks ago I noticed my pineapple swordtail platy was having trouble swimming normally. She was swimming nose-down, tail-up, and using the plastic plants in the tank to lodge herself in a position such that she wouldn't float to the top. I looked it up and it seemed that she has a bacterial infection of some kind and not a swim bladder problem as her feces was also a bit whiter than normal and her swimming ease varied too much for swim bladder disease.

May 1, 2012 - I have a tank that consists of platys, guppies, mollies, gouramis ans swordtails , i have noticed on all 3 of my mollies they have a kind of white fur on there eyes one of the mollies has it quite bad and the other two half as bad, just about noticeable. I have got them out of the main tank and now the fish in the tank are healthy and have no problems with there eyes - 1.)what is the disease the mollies had?
2.) Will the other fish get it ?
3.) What shall i do?
